Danny Mathews, Secretary of the Board of Directors

Daniel Mathews, an active-duty Army Public Affairs Officer, brings nearly 20 years of distinguished experience in strategic communications to the table. As the principal advisor to senior Army leaders, he has expertly managed messaging, media relations, and led teams in articulating complex policy issues to Congress and the public. His previous roles include the Communications Advisor to the Vice Chief of Staff of the Army and Public Affairs Officer for the 101st Airborne Division, where he developed and executed internal and external communication strategies, managed digital media platforms, and led teams of up to 25 communicators. Mathews holds a Bachelor of Arts from Whitworth University and a Master of Military Arts and Sciences from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, specializing in information advantage and strategic communications.
