Nicholas Dockery, Founder & Chairman of the Board
Nicholas Dockery is a decorated U.S. Army Special Forces Officer (Green Beret), national security professional, and lifelong advocate for healing from trauma. He founded the Nicholas Dockery Foundation to expand access to art and equine therapy, inspired by his own experiences in combat and his personal passion for horses and the arts.
Nick is a graduate of West Point and Yale University’s Jackson School of Global Affairs, and is currently pursuing an MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. As a 2025 White House Fellow, he authored a government-wide implementation report of a Presidential Executive Order to improve economic opportunities for military and veteran families. He also serves as Senior Advisor to a DARPA-backed initiative that develops AI tools to help clinicians identify and support Veterans at risk of suicide.
His service has been recognized with two Silver Stars for valor in combat, three Bronze Star Medals, and two Purple Hearts. Nick now brings his courage, vision, and compassion to advancing innovative therapies that help trauma survivors heal and thrive.
